Cambremer Labradors were established in 1965.

The kennels first challenge certificate winner was the yellow bitch Braunspath Simona of Cambremer followed by the purchase of a yellow male named Glenarem Skyrocket who became the kennels 1^st Champion. The breeding of both these dogs was mainly  Sandylands and Lawnwoods. It was the mating together of these two labradors that established Cambremer and produced the kennels 1^st home bred title winner namely Sh. Ch. Cambremer St. Clair.

Sh. Ch. Cambremer St. Clair was bred to the yellow dog Eng. & Am Ch. Receiver of Cranspire and this produced the yellow male Sh. Ch. Cambremer Countdown who in turn sired three champions. St. Clair was then bred to the black male Ch. Fabracken Comedy Star. From this litter came the outstanding black brood bitch Cambremer Montclair (2 C.C.s-3 res C.C.s)

In 1985 Cambremer Montclair was bred to the black male Sh. Ch. Charway Blackthorn of Follytower. From the mating came the two top winning black bitches Norwegian Ch. Cambremer Bianca and the outstandingly successful black bitch Sh.Ch.Cambremer Madonna . Madonna's record speaks for itself winning 16 C.C.s, 13 Res C.C.s, B.O.B.Crufts in 1989, Res C.C.Crufts 1991, Gundog group winner at Border Union and top Labrador in the U.K. in 1992.

Sh. Ch. Cambremer Madonna was bred to the 1990 Crufts B.O.B. winner Sh. Ch. Simandem Kings Neptune and this produced the black bitch Sh. Ch. Cambremer Be Generous who in turn won B.O.B.and Group 4 at Crufts in 1995.

Cambremer Montclair was then bred to the outstanding black stud dog of the 80's namely Ch. Kupros Master Mariner. This litter contained 4 Champions namely Swiss Ch. Cambremer Du Vallon De Villiard, Eng, Portugese, Spanish and Iberian Ch Cambremer Jazz Singer (Crufts dog C.C. in 1989 alongside Madonna), Swedish Ch. Cambremer Copy Cat (1C.C. in the U.K.) who produced many champions around the world, and finally Sh. Ch. Cambremer All That Jazz.

Sh. Ch. Cambremer All That Jazz was top class, had sheer quality and type and became on of the top brood bitches of all time and whose type continues to come down the line today. She produced 8 champions-4 English, 2 American, 1 Canadian and 1 Belgium and many other C.C.winners. Her English Champions are Sh. Ch. Cambremer Evita, Sh. Ch. Cambremer In The Mood, Ch. Cambremer Tom Cobbley of Charway, Sh. Ch. Cambremer Tom Sawyer and his sister Cambremer Jazzmine.

Cambremer Jazzmine has to date produced Sh. Ch. Cambremer Jessica and Sh. Ch. Call My Bluff who are currently being shown along with Sh. Ch. In The Mood and the two youngsters Cambremer Two To Tango and Blackfyne Swing'n'Time at Cambremer .

The kennel to the present date has had 17 British Champions and 11 Foreign Champions and has won 124 Challenge Certificates
